After qualifying as an RGN in 2003 Joanne spent over 17 years working within the NHS. Firstly on a general surgical ward before moving into primary care in 2010.
On enhancing her primary care role with the achievement of a masters degree, a specialist practitioner qualification and a V300 independent prescribing qualification Joanne felt ready for a new challenge.
In 2020 Joanne undertook training in non surgical facial aesthetics with Derma Institute & in weight management becoming a certified partner of the National Medical Weight Loss Programme. Joanne gained the knowledge and skills required to be able to offer clients weight management solutions as well as a range of facial rejuvenation, age reversing, skin smoothing and muscle relaxing treatments designed to suit individual client requirements.
It was a natural progression for Joanne to open her aesthetics business
J.E.S Iconic Aesthetics.
Joanne is proud to be a highly competent, experienced and confident specialist practitioner. Using her natural nursing abilities to treat all clients as an individual, with respect, dignity and holism Joanne holds the nursing ethos central to all client contacts.
Maintaining registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, membership with the Royal College of Nursing and fully insured with Cosmetic insure Joanne strives to provide a professional, confidential and patient centred service to all
